Let me guess—you thought I was going to cover the basics of stack overflows, buffer overflows, and all that basic stuff, didn’t you? Well, you were mistaken. That would be somewhat shameless of me, as there are already thousands of tutorials on these topics available online.

I admit that reverse engineering can be tedious to learn, however, once you grasp the core concepts, it becomes much more manageable. I will attempt to document the thought processes you should adopt when reverse engineering executables, starting with crackmes and other basic programs to advanced concept.
